Chapter 3: Cosmic War
Episode 11
The Approach to Primordial
Axiom Empire Calendar 2847, 00:00 Hours
The moment we reached the Primordial star system, we realized the very fabric of space had transformed beyond recognition. This was a realm where the normal laws of physics held no dominion—a chaotic dimension where time flowed backward, gravity reversed itself, and even light bent in impossible ways.
“Tensui, look. That’s the enemy’s cosmic armada," Ren pointed toward a sight that defied all imagination.
What we witnessed wasn’t merely a fleet of ships—it was an assembly of cosmic horrors given form and purpose.
The Ancient Gods’ chaotic cosmic armada – manifestations of pure chaos in the distorted space
The Ancient Gods’ Armada
These weren’t ships in any conventional sense—they were living nightmares. Massive squid-like entities with countless writhing tentacles, skeletal dragon-ships whose bone frameworks pulsed with malevolent energy, and liquid metal vessels that constantly shifted and morphed their forms. Each was a manifestation of chaos itself, possessed of malignant will and purpose.
“Behold, Tensui. Those are the forces of chaos," Payanark’s voice carried unprecedented tension. “They are not vessels—they are chaos given consciousness and form."
“All ships, battle stations!" Admiral Galaxia’s command echoed across the fleet as the greatest war in cosmic history erupted into existence.
First Contact and Imperial Response
Without warning, massive tentacles kilometers in length erupted from the enemy formation, attempting to ensnare our battleships. The Andromeda 7th Fleet responded with quantum torpedoes, but our weapons simply ceased to exist upon contact with the chaos entities.
“Physical attacks are useless?" I gasped in disbelief.
“The chaos ships exist in different dimensions from normal matter," Marshal Stellaris explained grimly. “Only our dimensional weapons can harm them. This is where the Sirius Forces truly shine."
The Sirius dimensional combat units deployed their reality-warping arsenal, weapons that used space itself as ammunition. Several enemy vessels began to dissolve under the assault, but their retaliation was swift and terrible. A massive dragon-type ship fired reality-distortion beams that made our battleships fade from existence entirely.
Payanark’s true cosmic combat form – a kilometers-long dragon deity with Tensui riding upon its head
Tensui’s Decision to Fight
“Tensui, your power is needed," Emperor Axiom’s voice resonated through the cosmos. “Conventional warfare cannot win this battle. You and Payanark must enter the field directly."
“But do I truly possess such power?"
“Your Manji mark can access the fundamental forces of the universe. Trust in that power."
Payanark underwent his ultimate transformation into true cosmic combat form—a dragon deity stretching kilometers in length, his body a perfect fusion of mechanical systems and biological tissue. Countless weapon arrays adorned his back, and from his eyes came beams capable of cleaving space itself.
“Tensui, fight alongside me," Payanark declared as I mounted his massive head, and together we launched into the void.
The universe-scale manifestation of the Manji power – order conquering chaos across space itself
Order vs Chaos: The Universal Scale Battle
At the heart of the battlefield, my Manji mark blazed with unprecedented intensity. Its light began normalizing the chaotic space around us—twisted time straightened, reversed gravity corrected itself, and bent light resumed its proper path.
“This is… my true power?"
“Exactly so. You are the incarnation of order—the only being capable of opposing chaos."
From the largest enemy vessel emerged a colossal humanoid entity—the Chaos Messenger Void, direct representative of the Chaos Emperor. Its presence was so terrifying that merely looking upon it threatened one’s sanity.
“I am Void, Messenger of Chaos. So you are the Messenger of Order. I shall destroy your order with my chaotic power."
Our battle truly spanned the universe itself. Each collision between my order-light and Void’s chaos attacks affected the very stars around us. Payanark fought with equal intensity, his draconic roars echoing through space, the shockwaves obliterating smaller enemy craft.
United We Fight
“Tensui, I won’t let you fight alone!" Ren appeared in a specialized space fighter, her Emperor Genes allowing her to function in the cosmic void.
The twelve-member Savior Guard each deployed their unique abilities—Crystallia launched psychic attacks that disabled enemy vessels, the mechanical warriors calculated enemy movements with perfect precision, and the bio-warriors’ self-repair abilities let them rise again and again.
In the midst of battle, loyal Jet displayed a crucial reaction. “Jet has detected the location of the Primordial Will!" Payanark announced excitedly. From Primordial’s core, a faint light emanated—the sealed location of the Primordial Will.
Victory in the First Cosmic War – Imperial forces secure space superiority over Primordial
The Tide Turns
When my Manji power and Payanark’s dragon deity abilities achieved complete fusion, the battle’s momentum shifted decisively. The power of order spread across the entire battlefield, slowing the chaos fleet’s movements. The enemy drew strength from chaotic environments, but in the presence of order, they could not manifest their full potential.
“Now! All fleet units, general assault!" Emperor Axiom’s command triggered a coordinated strike from our forces.
Recognizing defeat, Void began his withdrawal. “This victory is yours today. But this is merely the prologue. The true battle will be fought within Primordial itself."
With most of the chaos fleet in retreat, the Empire secured air superiority over Primordial space. “First Cosmic War—Imperial victory!" The cheers of triumph echoed throughout the entire fleet.
Descent to Primordial
However, the true battle was yet to come. “Tensui, next comes the descent operation to Primordial’s interior," Emperor Axiom issued the next directive. “There you must liberate the Primordial Will and achieve true universal peace."
Through this battle, I came to understand my true power. The Manji mark was not merely a weapon—it was the ultimate force governing universal order itself.
“We will achieve victory," I declared, and all my comrades responded in kind.
Loyal Jet barked proudly. Having located the Primordial Will, he too was a crucial member of this cosmic struggle. The war that would determine the universe’s fate was entering its final phase.
Primordial’s chaotic surface gradually drew nearer. There awaited the ultimate battle for the universe’s fundamental forces.
To Be Continued…
The First Cosmic War has ended in Imperial victory, but the true battle for the universe’s soul lies ahead in the depths of Primordial itself.
